FIRST AID and CPR COURSES

We offer private first aid and CPR courses at your home or office in Hamilton, Niagara and surrounding areas.

Pricing is per person and includes all materials and certification fees, as required, but does not include HST. Minimum of 4 participants required. *Group rates are available for combined First Aid and CPR courses. Please let us know how many participants you will have so we can give you a price!

CPR-A + AED

3 Hours | $43

CPR-A teaches how to do adult CPR and choking procedures for adults and includes the importance of early defibrillation and how to use an AED.

CPR-HCP (BLS)

4 Hours | $84

CPR-HCP/BLS & AED (HCP stands for Health Care Provider) covers all aspects of CPR skills and theory for adult, child and infant victims, including rescue breathing (artificial respiration) and the use of AEDs and bag-valve-masks (BVM).

Intermediate First Aid + CPR-C

16 Hours | $221

Formerly Standard First Aid , this course provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR and is designed for those who require a more in-depth understanding of first aid including: legal implications of first aid treatment, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, chest injuries, and medical emergencies.​ *Group rates are available for this course. CPR-C + AED

4 Hours | $53

CPR-C & AED covers all aspects of CPR skills and theory for adults, children and infants including two-rescuer CPR skills. CPR-C includes the importance of early defibrillation and how to use an AED. CPR-C certification is included in Basic and Intermediate First Aid.​

Basic First Aid + CPR-C

8 Hours | $135

Formerly Emergency First Aid, this course provides awareness, knowledge, and skills related to first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries. Topics include workplace safety, self-protection, scene and primary assessment, CPR, breathing emergencies such as choking, and what to do for external bleeding, heart attack/angina, stroke, and using an AED. Includes CPR-C with AED certification for adult, child and infant. It is recognized by Ontario's Workplace Safety & Insurance Board. *Group rates are available for this course. IFA + CPR-C Recertification

8 Hours | $135

Candidates may take an Intermediate First Aid Recertification course within 36 months of completing an Intermediate/Standard First Aid Full Course (16 hours). Recertification for Intermediate First Aid covers the essential workplace first aid competencies, including CPR-C with AED certification for adult, child and infant, emergency scene management, recognition and management of life-threatening airway, breathing, circulation, and bleeding emergencies, identification and response to medical emergencies, and management of soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries. *Group rates are available for this course. As of June 22, 2026, parts of the first aid curriculum in Ontario have changed, as well as the names of the courses, to align with the National Standards (CSA). Candidates may now recertify their First Aid certification with any provider.

Family and Community Safety Courses

Pricing is per person and includes all materials, as required, but does not include HST. Minimum of 4 participants required.

These courses are not approved by WSIB and do not include a certification except where indicated*

Infant and Child CPR

1.5 Hours | $25

Designed specifically for parents and grandparents. Learn how to respond quickly to infant and child cardiac emergencies, breathing issues, and choking in a relaxed, hands-on environment without the pressure of an exam.

Safeguard Course*

4 Hours | $64

Safety supervision training for guardians (e.g, babysitters, day camp counsellors, counsellors-in-training and others) who accompany groups of young people to pools or waterfronts. The course stresses the responsibility undertaken by these group leaders for safeguarding the young people in their care even when under lifeguard supervision. Safeguard focuses on water safety awareness, accident prevention and the principles of aquatic safety supervision. Safeguard teaches participants how to identify hazards and at-risk behaviours, how to recognize potential victims, and how to respond safely in an aquatic emergency.

Water Safety Basics

2 Hours | $35

Perfect for backyard pool owners, cottage goers, and families who love the water. This practical session focuses on drowning prevention, identifying water distress, and performing aquatic CPR.

First Aid for Caregivers

2 Hours | $35

Designed specifically for parents and grandparents. Learn how to respond quickly to common first aid emergencies, in addition to sudden breathing issues, unresponsiveness and choking in a relaxed, hands-on environment without the pressure of an exam.

*Safeguard: Upon successful completion and evaluation, participants receive a certification card from the Lifesaving Society. Annual recertification recommended.
