Meet Sheilah

Join us in welcoming Sheilah Laffan, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, YACEP, RCYT to the Marlin family!

Sheilah is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and has a passion for wellness and healthy living as shown by her over 1,500 hours of training. She is a knowledgeable and certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer who promotes a safe, accessible, inclusive and fun workout environment. Sheilah believes strongly in reaching optimal fitness and well-being at any age and uses an integrated mind-body-spirit approach to do so.  

Not only is Sheilah known and loved by the Hamilton community, but she is active and engaged in many communities within Hamilton as well! Sheilah is specialized in teaching Accessible Yoga for ALL populations including ADD/ADHD and the Autism Spectrum and she actively volunteers with marginalized populations. Sheilah has successfully completed 500 Hours of Yoga Teacher Training with Yogafit® Canada and has been an Accessible Yoga Ambassador since 2018. 

Sheilah has taught over 15,000 hours of yoga classes and we are beyond thrilled to have her experience and passion join the MSA team.

Water Yoga Therapy

Mondays and Thursdays 10:00-10:45am

Price: $12 per class

Join Sheilah as she takes you through your individual journey, each day. Yoga therapy is a mindful session built to suit the needs of the class. With extensive education and practice hours, Sheilah works with each individual to help them get the most out of their daily practice. All participants over the age of 12 are welcome!

*Space extremely limited. Drop-in classes must be registered for in advance to guarantee a spot.

Waterfit

Mondays and Thursdays 9:00-9:45am

Price: $10 per class

Warm up with Sheilah as she brings your heart rate to a working rate. Work through unique fitness routines where you build endurance, stamina and muscle. Finish with a cool down and mindfulness checkin. Looking for a little extra? Register for the Yoga Therapy session that follows!
