Marlin Swim Academy is looking for fun, enthusiastic swim instructors to join our team for our mobile summer program! If you live in the Greater Hamilton/Toronto area, Burlington, Brantford, Norfolk County or Niagara Region, this opportunity could be for you! Highlights include highly competitive pay, working outside, making your own hours and picking your travel locations. If you have a pool, working from home is also possible!
Responsibilities
The majority of this job will be travelling to client's homes to provide swimming lessons and, in some cases, first aid training. Other responsibilities will include: tracking swimmer progress, filling out report cards, communicating with clients, swimmers, parents/guardians and Marlin Swim Academy management, maintaining equipment and requesting replacement items as required, working independently and representing Marlin Swim Academy in a professional and respectful manner.
Mandatory Qualifications
Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard
Lifesaving Society Swim and Lifesaving Instructor
Standard First Aid + CPR-C
Other Job Requirements

Minimum of 650 hours' experience teaching the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Program

Access to a reliable vehicle during scheduled hours and ability to travel within your zone

Must be able to provide a police vulnerable sector check prior to contract start
Compensation Starting Rates
Basic Instructor: $40/hour (on a per-lesson basis)
Leadership Instructor: $50/hour
Training: $15.50/hour
